ABOUT OUR CLUB
About Liverpool Rangers: Established in 1963, Liverpool Rangers is one of the oldest clubs in the
Southern Districts Soccer Football Association. The club is based at Ireland Park, Liverpool which is
just 2.5km from the Liverpool City Centre and is comprised of 3 full sized fields, 1 mod field and 1
mini field. The club colours of royal blue and white are inspired by the famous Glasgow Rangers
Football Club. Liverpool Rangers offers grass roots football for both male and female players of all
ages. With an emphasis on fair play and equality, Liverpool Rangers ensures that all players and club
officials provide a fun and inclusive environment so the game is enjoyed by all. The 2022 season saw
players ranging in age from 5 to 65 years of age. Liverpool Rangers has a strong commitment to both
male and female football and in 2022 saw the club field a record number of junior girls teams as well
as 3 senior ladies teams for the first time in the club’s history. Over the years, Liverpool Rangers’
teams have achieved high levels of success with many players progressing to representative soccer.
Some Liverpool Rangers alumni have gone on to play at a professional level both in Australia and
overseas. Former Western Sydney Wanderers captain and Socceroo Mitchell Duke began his playing
career with Liverpool Rangers. 2023 sees Liverpool Rangers celebrate their 60th Anniversary.
